Q&A
While working on a page I always end up deleting unwanted items and/or text
boxes. However, sometimes I accidentally delete something and then I have to
look through premier to try and find it again. Any suggestions on how to make
that easier?
Trash Can
Actually, anything that you delete from a
page goes into your trash can, an icon in the upper right corner of your screen.
You can click on that icon to not only see all of the items previously deleted
but you can also drag them back onto your page! How easy is
that?

It had to be the new Calvin Klein jeans and tuxedo style blouse. That was my favorite "back to school" outfit (at the time- LOL). What was yours? It was always exciting to get those new school clothes. And the new shoes..... always so slick on the soles that you would make your yearly "slide" down the staircase as you hurried to show everyone your new outfit. New sharpened pencils, spiral bound notebooks were ready to go, seeing friends and who was in my class. These were the things that made going back to school so exciting for me.
I'm not going back to school, but I have my own excitement this month. I just returned from our last family vacation of the summer to find out that the new Heritage Makers Studio 2.0 will be released in 3 days! Count them... 3 days! Yes - August 23rd is the release date. Consultants have been testing and exploring the new 2.0 version and I'm eager to start using all the new features it has to offer. Q: Is there a way, in the drag and drop system to prevent accidentally selecting objects and moving them after I have placed them where I want on the page?
A: With the new upgraded Studio 2.0 (to be released on August 23) you will be able to "Lock" backgrounds, pictures and elements in place to prevent them from being moved after you position them on the page. Also - you will have the ability to group objects together to moved them all together!

Meet My Mom 
Allow me to introduce my mom, Bonnie. Her and my dad live about 3 miles from our house. I am so thankful for all she does to help me and my family. Whether with day to day activities, caring for sick children, scanning or attending events with me she is always willing to help make life a little bit easier. However, what I appreciate most is what their presence does for our children. It gives them heritage and an understanding of where they come from and why we are who we are today.
Won't you take the time to make a book for your Mother? Write about what she means to you and what she taught you. Write about the fun times, the comforting times, her values, her strengths ... your Heritage.

1) COME IN CLOSE Many of us take in the wall, the drapes, the couch and oh YES, there's Grandma in the middle there...get in close and take pictures of Grandma - capture the TWINKLE in her eye, show off the SMILE LINES (wrinkles).
2) HAVE ENOUGH LIGHT If you don't have a flash make sure you have sunlight available.

Making of a Champion |
|

Customer Highlight: "Champions are not born but are determined." This is the theme of Howard Roberson's book about his daughter, Cindy. It tells the story of how Cindy worked hard with steadfast determination to become a state champion in Michigan. As the first female indoor pole vault champion in Michigan, she paved the way for other high school girls to take up the sport.
Cindy was awarded a scholarship to the University of Louisville where she continued to compete. It was not an easy path, training with the men and competing against top collegiate athletes. She also pursued a degree in teaching and maintained a place on the AB Honor Roll. She was determined, worked hard and studied hard. She graduated from the university as a champion pole vaulter and is now teaching middle school and coaching other collegiate athletes.
Her father tells the story of determination and hard work - values instilled by her parents. It is a story of a champion - told by a "Champion of Heritage."
